Inova Alexandria Hospital is looking for a FT Endoscopy Nurse to work 4x10 shifts/week with rotating weekend and holiday call.

Schedule- 4x10 shifts per week, 7a-5.30p; rotating days with on call requirements: weekends (Sat and Sun 8a-6p) every 5 weeks, rotating holiday call.

This beautiful community Hospital located in the city of Alexandria is equipped with 11 OR suites and 4 Endoscopy Suites. Comprehensive range of surgical specialties to include, orthopedics-total joints, sports medicine, spine, general ENT, gynecology, urology, plastics, vascular, neurosurgery, podiatry, and maxillofacial. Full range of Endoscopy services including Heartburn Treatment.

Qualified candidates are eligible for a sign on bonus and/ relocation assistance.

Job Requirements:

• RN with at least 2 years of GI/Endoscopy, Pre-Op, Intra-Op or Post-op experience is highly desired.
• Those candidates with 1 plus years of critical care nursing (ICU and/or ED) will be considered
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.
• RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.
• ACLS & BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification issued by the AHA is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others.
• Proficient computer skills required.
